Description
2000 Hunter 340 – Freshwater Cruiser with Comfort and Performance
This well-maintained 2000 Hunter 340 has always been sailed in freshwater and is a fantastic blend of comfort, performance, and value. Designed for ease of handling and spacious living, she features a modern fractional rig, roller furling, and all lines led aft—ideal for singlehanding or cruising as a couple.
Below, you’ll find an inviting interior with warm teak finishes, a large salon with generous 6'4" headroom, a full galley with Corian countertops, and two private staterooms. The aft cabin is especially roomy, spanning the full beam. Large ports and hatches bathe the interior in natural light, creating an open, airy feel.
On deck, her roomy cockpit has a walk-through transom with swim platform, a folding wheel for extra space, and plenty of seating for guests. The wide beam carried aft makes for a stable ride under sail, and her shallow draft allows access to more anchorages. Trades for a smaller sailboat in similar condition will be entertained!
This Hunter 340 is a perfect Great Lakes cruiser or liveaboard—ready to sail away and make new memories.
