Born and raised on the shores of Lake Erie in Cleveland, Chris is a lifelong boater with a particular passion for sailing. Chrisâ childhood frequently involved working on boats with his dad and from a young age knew he wanted to make a career out of it. Chris spent the first 5 years of his career living in South Florida and working for Jetdock Systems as well as skippering boats throughout Florida and the Caribbean. Wanting to work more with boats, Chris moved on to a ten-year career at Tartan Yachts in Ohio. He began in construction and assembly, moved on to customer service management, and then managed Tartan Yachts re-fit program. These experiences have culminated in Chrisâs sharp knowledge of vessel construction, systems, design, performance, rigging and troubleshooting of both power and sailing vessels.

In addition to joining the RCR team, Chris also started his own marine repair business in 2024.
Chris spends as much time as possible racing and cruising his Tartan 37 with his wife Taylor and their dogs. Chris serves as Vice Commodore and Sail Squadron race chair at Northeast Yacht Club in Cleveland, OH.
