Description
Osprey is a stunning example of the sought-after C&C 35 Mk III. Pioneers of the racer/cruiser concept, C&C were ahead of their time when the 35 was originally drawn, and here we find a wonderful balance between comfort, power, and sailing ease, no matter how many crew are aboard. This particular vessel has been lovingly maintained and modernized, and boasts a full suite of recent Garmin electronics, a newer Yanmar diesel with only 100 hours, and countless other upgrades and improvements. This is a truly impressive vessel in top condition.
On deck a freshly painted and rewired mast supports a Harken MkIV genoa furler, and a MackPack mainsail cover. All standing rigging was replaced in 2014, and all lines are led to the cockpit where the safety and comfort of a full bimini and dodger keep out the weather. At the helm station a Garmin 942xs displays all navigation and digital radar information, and a set of networked Garmin GNX 120 displays at the base of the mast display wind, speed, and depth information. A Raymarine SmartPilot X5 autopilot helps share the workload, while ample cockpit storage, and a foldout teak table provide for storage and cozy entertaining options.
Down below you are greeted by a beautifully polished teak and holly cabin sole and clean, updated upholstery. To starboard is a navigation station with a Garmin GPSMap 840xs plotter and a Standard Horizon AIS/GPS VHF with DSC. A remote VHF station is also mounted at the helm. A sea berth aft and to port has plenty of room for an off-watch snooze or additional storage. To port, the galley features an Adler/Barbour refrigerator/freezer, a stainless dual sink, and a three burner propane stove with oven. Moving forward, the saloon features a U-shaped dining table with an additional settee to starboard. Tons of storage is available throughout. Forward of the saloon are hanging lockers, a head with stand up shower, and a queen sized berth in the forecastle. With air conditioning and a clean, modern interior, this boat is comfortable and ready to go places.
Make plans to see this boat today--she won't last long!

Patrick Kelly grew up on the west side of Cleveland, Ohio. After taking a local Learn to Sail class as a young teenager, he was hooked and has been on the water ever since. While attending The Ohio State University, he was a member of the sailing team, competing around the midwest. Boating has been a way of life for Patrick; he participates on several racing crews, and holds a USCG Master License. In addition, he is an FAA licensed commercial pilot.
When not racing, Patrick enjoys cruising around the great lakes with his partner Jennifer and their children. He volunteers his spare time to promote junior sailing programs, and enjoys watching his son sail on the Edgewater Yacht Club Junior Race Team.
Not only is Patrick a member of the RCR Team, he is also a customer, having purchased his boat through RCR a few years ago. "The expertise RCR provided when I made my boat purchase was impressive, and I hope to provide the same level of excellence to my customers."
