Description
Zelda is a Dehler (34), Optima 101, a well designed and built racer/cruiser with German precision. So popular in Europe that over 700 have been built. Good looking, easily handled, well balanced, sturdy, and quite fast. She is a rewarding boat to sail offering good performance in a wide range of conditions, as well as nice accommodations. As a racer cruiser she is successful at both.
The fractional rig’s large main with 2 reefs, is a great set up for easy shorthanded or single-handed sailing. Zelda has sailed in several (GLSS) Great Lakes single-handed events, of over 300 nm.
Equipped with a Yanmar 18hp Diesel engine, solar panel and charger, Ray Marine auto pilot, AIS, MMSI number, and three batteries. Three year old winter cover!
Deck and Hull Equipment
Two sets of winches, six Line clutches, jam cleats, adjustable backstay, roller Furler, Spinnaker and Spinnaker gear.

Manual head, and 15 gallon holding tank. Two 100 amp, AGM, house batteries and one starter battery. 50 W solar panel and charger. Gori folding prop.
Sleeping accommodations include the V berth, 2 settees in the maincabin, and a double bunk in the quarter berth. A large chart table with folding seat. Led lighting in the cabin.
All cushions and back rest in very good condition, there are also cockpit cushions.

Tim joined RCR Yachts in February 2014. He grew up in Youngstown, learning to sail in the Youngstown YC Jr. Sailing program. After leaving the area to attend Connecticut College and then work in New York City for 8 years, he decided to move home and follow his passion for boating. He actively races his J/70 “Junior” all over the country and locally as a member of the Youngstown Yacht Club, where he is on the board of directors. He is the co-chair of the CanAm Challenge that hosts a one-design regatta each July at YYC. Tim is also on the board for Sail America. He works out of the Youngstown and Buffalo offices and lives in Lewiston with his wife Aly and kids Cole & Louise.
