Description
Responding to a growing need amongst sailors for a more comfortable, simpler and easy-to-own daysailer, the sleek, new 28-foot J/9 has perhaps the most comfortable cockpit and easiest-to-manage sailplan in this size range. The cockpit has four great corner seats to nestle into and enjoy the day. With friends and family aboard, everyone can find the perfect place to relax. And access aboard has never been easier. A swim platform behind the cockpit allows walk-through boarding, and on those downwind sails home, you can cool off by dragging your feet in the water.
Our in-stock model comes with diesel with saildrive, grey deck, comfort group, North Sails, opening ports, Flexiteek floor, V-berth, Trim package, B&G Triton2 display, and grey boot stripe.

Tim joined RCR Yachts in February 2014. He grew up in Youngstown, learning to sail in the Youngstown YC Jr. Sailing program. After leaving the area to attend Connecticut College and then work in New York City for 8 years, he decided to move home and follow his passion for boating. He actively races his J/70 “Junior” all over the country and locally as a member of the Youngstown Yacht Club, where he is on the board of directors. He is the co-chair of the CanAm Challenge that hosts a one-design regatta each July at YYC. Tim is also on the board for Sail America. He works out of the Youngstown and Buffalo offices and lives in Lewiston with his wife Aly and kids Cole & Louise.
