Beneteau First 27

[/vc_column]

Overview

The Beneteau First 27 is a small towable sports cruiser with a lot of potential. It’s perfect for both offshore racing and relaxed sailing trips with friends. Whether you want speed or comfort, this boat has it all.

Exterior Design

The Beneteau First 27 was designed by naval architect Sam Manuard, who used his racing experience to shape the boat. It has a hard chine that runs all the way to the bow, vertical sides, a wide beam on the waterline, and twin rudders. These features make the boat strong and competitive in races. Additionally, the hull shape, carbon rig, and deep draught lead keel all work together to give the boat great stability. Because the keel makes up 50% of the boat’s weight, the First 27 is also very powerful. The cockpit is spacious and comfortable, with foot chocks along the entire length of the boat. Plus, the keel can be easily lifted with a manual hydraulic jack, which makes towing simple.

Interior Design

Inside, the Beneteau First 27 has many smart features that make it great for cruising with a crew of up to four people. The forward cabin has a large double berth, and there are two sliding berths below the cockpit, which give extra room for sleeping. The interior style is simple but modern, with several clever details that everyone will appreciate. For example, there are folding doors held in place with magnets, shelves that can double as bags for storing personal items, a large table on the keel casing leg, and companionway steps with built-in storage. One of the storage compartments is just the right size for a fridge.

In summary, the Beneteau First 27 is designed to offer both speed and comfort, making it ideal for a variety of sailing adventures.
