Melissa is a longtime sailor, who started racing in Chicago on Lake Michigan, before moving to Toronto in 2009 and racing and cruising on Lake Ontario. In her professional life, she’s been a writer and editor for multiple magazines and websites. She and her family left Toronto in 2021 to fulfill the dream of living and cruising full-time on a sailboat. She’s currently in Thailand with plans to cross the Indian Ocean to Cape Town during 2024. Working remotely for RCR, Melissa handles our marketing and communications, including our website, newsletter and social media accounts.
