Bob Reese founded RCR in 1972, having been with our predecessor Youngstown Boat Company for nine years previous. He is a life-long sailor who in recent years has become more interested in multi-hull sailing. Bob still continues sailboat racing with his most prized win being the Corsair Trimaran Nationals in 2000, while skippering his brother Tom’s Corsair 28R. He has focused primarily on the service and boatyard side of our business but has done just about every job there is in this business in his 50+ years here. He holds a Coast Guard Masters license and is a private pilot. While he lives in Youngstown much of the year he spends his winter months in Punta Gorda, Florida.
