**Baltic 52 — A Rare Expression of Finnish Yacht Craftsmanship**

**A Truly Exceptional Custom-Specified Baltic**

Constructed by Baltic Yachts of Finland, *Stammpede* represents the rare combination of performance-oriented design, sophisticated composite construction, and the understated luxury for which Baltic has become renowned. Hull 18 — the last Baltic 52 built — was specified with an extensive list of custom options, including a carbon-fiber hull and deck, custom keel, carbon rig, hydraulic sail-handling systems, sophisticated electronics, climate control, and a beautifully appointed interior.

What makes this yacht particularly interesting is not any single option, but the depth and consistency of the original specification. Virtually every major system — from the hull construction and keel to the rig, hydraulics, electronics, climate control, and interior — was selected at a level appropriate for a serious, high-performance ocean-going yacht.

Delivered by Baltic Yachts to the Port of Cleveland, Ohio, she was then transported to Erie, Pennsylvania, where representatives from Hall Spars and Baltic Yachts completed her fitting-out. She has been on the freshwater of Lake Erie for her entire life — possibly the only Baltic 52 to have not seen saltwater.

Designed by the renowned Sparkman & Stephens design team, her long sailing lines and low center-of-gravity keel make for a powerful yet stable yacht that can easily be short-handed. Hydraulic in-boom and roller furling systems make easy work of sail handling and reefing. Two cockpits allow for the separation of sail handling and helm functions, with both converting to comfortable lounge spaces. The deck is finished in robust teak, while the hull is painted in white Awl-Grip with red accents.
