Description
**About the Fantasi 44 Pilot House**
The Fantasi 44 Pilot House *Castellina Sul Mare* was designed by naval architect Gabriel Heyman and built by Jacobssons Boatyard on the west coast of Sweden. Upon her debut, she won Editor’s Choice at the Southampton Boat Show, and David Glenn, then deputy editor of *Yachting World*, described her as “100 percent pure seduction.”
The Fantasi 44 is a proper bluewater cruiser with a lower freeboard than usual and a longish fin keel with the lead positioned very low in a pronounced bulb. Despite moderate displacement, this design produces a stiff, powerful sailing platform with a slender, easily driven hull shape.
**This Vessel**
*Castellina Sul Mare* is a one-owner boat, purchased in Sweden and sailed back to the USA by her owners. She has been a freshwater Great Lakes boat for the last 14 years and has been stored in heated storage every winter.

**Interior Layout**
Below decks, the teak-finished interior offers a two-cabin, two-heads layout with a large upper saloon, lower dinette, and lower galley. The raised salon includes autopilot remote and engine controls, allowing the yacht to be operated safely from below decks in inclement weather. Lockers and storage spaces are found throughout.
**Pilothouse & Cockpit**
The aft cockpit pilothouse features a push-button rig and lower helm position. The pilothouse provides shelter from the elements while maintaining excellent visibility, and a full set of navigation instruments is at the lower helm.
**Hull & Keel**
The hull is fiberglass construction. The fin keel features a pronounced bulb with lead positioned very low, lowering the center of gravity and contributing to the boat’s stiffness and upwind capability. The rudder is mounted on a partial skeg.
